Bequest in Your Will
A carefully written Will ensures that your assets are distributed according to your wishes. A cash bequest for a specific amount of money can be a legacy to a loved one. A bequest in your will – to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario – can help you give back to your community.
Gift of Life Insurance
You can make a significant gift with your life insurance policy – either by signing over an existing policy, or by purchasing a new policy naming Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario as sole owner and beneficiary
Charitable Remainder Trust
You can transfer property to a trust, naming Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario as the capital beneficiary.
Gift of Residual Interest
You can make a gift in your lifetime (or a testamentary gift) of the residual interest in a property. You can continue using the property for life or for however long you choose.
A gift annuity means you can donate money today and ensure that you have a stable income for the rest of your life. When you make a cash gift, Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario purchases, on your behalf, an annuity designed to suit your personal needs, and pays you a lifetime income. When you pass away, the principal goes to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario to benefit the lives of people with Parkinson’s.
