Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario hosts two conferences per year in the Southwestern Ontario Region. Experts from Canada and the U.S.A. are invited as guest speakers to provide presentations on leading-edge topics such as research, treatment options, diagnosis of Parkinson’s and symptom management. Conferences provide information for people living with Parkinson’s, for family members as well as for community caregivers.

Community Presentations

Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario provides opportunities for people affected by Parkinson’s to learn about this disease. By partnering with organizations in different communities, Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario and expert healthcare professionals offer presentations on topics of specific interest to a large target audience. Workshops

Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario hosts interactive workshops for people with Parkinson’s and their carepartners. Workshop topics vary and usually include helpful tips and hands-on techniques to help participants transfer their knowledge from the classroom to the home. Workshops vary in length from half-day to full-day.
